Make that bitter party of two. I've already moved.

YOU GO GIRL! (Oops, perhaps that should be "woman" or "club mom blogger.)
GYSM.

Wait! I suppose that comment should read "soon to be ex-club mom blogger." Momma always said, "Why buy the cow if the milk is free." (Compliments of 'Sylvan Gump'.) I am by no means comparing you to a cow, but I think you get the drift.

I joined ClubMom so I could get the blogs every day. I'm not so good with the club stuff, but I love to read the blogs. I'm going to miss all of you when you go and I'm probably not going to participate in ClubMom after you're gone. My son is 40 so I don't really get the stuff they do at the club. But, here I can add a comment about what he did when he was two or five or whatever and it counts. If there is some place to complain about this I'll go complain but I think they aren't going to listen to us now. The die is set.

I agree with you and Moreena on this. I have checked out the new Cafe Momsite and am not impressed over there.

When Clubmom goes down I will no longer visit their sites. Hopefully I can still find the writers that I have enjoyed here.

Esther

Did ClubMom give you any more reason that the equality thing?

Some of my favorite blogs I found over at ClubMom. Too bad.....

I'll follow your blog. Please let me know where your new link will be, if you start new blogs in addition to the ones you have.

I would most certainly wave at you in the neighborhood. I would probably even look you up on the neighborhood map and bring you fudge and do all sorts of weird stuff to convince you to be my block buddy.

Yes, I really did get a good laugh about that reply, especially since I had just been valiantly defending the intelligence of the internet. Not, of course, that the collective information gleaned from a huge community like CafeMom is not intelligent. Not what I mean. But I had been making this big argument that the internet is a place where good writing can be rewarded financially. Unless, of course, the problem is that I'm not such a great writer after all.

Aaaaaaand back to the bottle of wine.

Seriously, I am bummed. But I am really enjoying not having ads again. I can't believe how much those things weighed me down.
